An example of Start-Up and University-based projects we are proud to be associated with;
- Tympany Medical who are on a mission to revolutionise Endoscopy and the current endoscopy business model. Their initial product, OptVU* in the ENT Ear Surgery space is on track for market entry in 2022. They have strong patent positions as well and interesting go-to-market ad business model innovations. We are excited to see their progress.
- Starling Medical see a gap in the global wound closure market to develop a solution that has the cosmetic results of suture with the speed and efficiency of metal staples. They have a novel product Quickstitch, with design utilising clever absorbable technology that quickly closes surgical skin wounds and safely disappears over time after surgery. Good for patients and surgeons alike.
- StathGaurd – A University of Limerick project in the area of CVC and infection prevention. Currently funded by EI under their commercialisation fund we work with the UL team of Researchers, Professors, and Engineers to provide them with practical market feedback on price, position, marketing, and ideas about product attributes, features, and the needs of the market.
