Concept to Saleable Product
The team at GSM always strives to overdeliver for its customers. Novel Surgical Consumable Products can be created to the specification of the customer for their specific needs.
Case 1
Consultant GI Robotic Surgeon had difficulty working with off-the-shelf swabs during Robotic surgery. GSM, in conjunction and collaboration with the Surgeon and Nursing Team, developed a new design that was not previously commercially available. The design was iterated until the surgeon was satisfied and GSM team finalised product designs and delivered the saleable product. This customer has been a user ever since, along with many other Robotic surgeons who now enjoy the utility this new design brings.
Case 2
The customer had a specialist requirement for a Mammography kit with specific product SKU’s that did not exist in the format that best served them. The team at GSM worked in consultation with this customer to design, prototype, and finalise a new design. This customer’s design is not only used by themselves but is now widely used by many of their colleagues.
Case 3
The Master in the Rotunda had a particular issue with a vaginal sponge as current designs did not meet their needs. GSM consultant with the surgeon finalised the design and delivered a novel Gyne sponge meeting the exacting specifications of the customer.
